Where GTX Gaming is ahead

  • Eighteen locations against our two. If most of your players are in Australia, Asia or the US west coast, GTX can put the server nearer to them than we can.
  • More than twice our review count, and a longer buying page with more detail on each plan.
  • Slot counts from 50 to 1,000 on a custom plan, where our plans stop at 150 and larger communities move to a dedicated server.

The trade-off

If your community is in the UK, Europe or central North America, the location count does not help you and the price does: £7.50 against £16.89 for 50 slots, with 16 GB of RAM instead of 12, a named CPU and a 48-hour window instead of 24 to decide. If your players are spread across continents, GTX's eighteen locations are a real advantage and we say so. GTX's Trustpilot profile currently shows no score, which Trustpilot attributes to a guidelines breach; read the reviews themselves rather than the headline.

Both hosts install Oxide/uMod or Carbon from the panel, both run NVMe storage and both include DDoS protection, so the choice comes down to the rows above: what you pay at 50 slots, how much RAM that buys, which CPU it runs on, where it runs and how long you have to change your mind. Our Rust server hosting page lists every plan, and the Rust server guide covers the admin side whichever host you pick.

Quick answers

Common questions

At 50 slots, yes: £7.50 a month on our Standard tier against GTX's £16.89 Survivor plan, both monthly, read on 15 October 2026. Our Extreme tier at £15.00 is still below GTX's entry price and runs on dedicated Ryzen 9 7950X cores.

Yes. GTX lists 18 locations across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. We run two, London and Dallas, in data centres we control. Run the ping test on our Rust page before you buy: if your number to London or Dallas is good, the extra locations are not buying you anything.

EUGameHost. We give 48 hours on new game server orders under our terms of service; GTX states a 24-hour money-back guarantee on its Rust page. Neither charges a setup fee or ties you to a contract.
