The banner is a small page we host, loaded in an iframe on yours. It queries your server directly each time it loads, so what your visitors see is what your server is doing.
The server IP, the game port and the query port. On most titles the query port matches the game port, but not all of them, which is the single most common reason a banner reads offline.
Press Test Server Connection. It queries your server from our side, so you find out now rather than after you have pasted the code onto your homepage.

Copy the iframe code, or the direct URL if you would rather link to it. Every setting lives in the URL, so you can edit it later without coming back here.
The banner queries whatever address you give it, so you can use this whether or not your server is hosted with us. If you would like it to be, our game server range is next door.

Live server status, current and maximum player count, map, game mode and version, pulled from your server when the banner loads. If the server is unreachable it says so rather than showing stale numbers.
Anything answering the Steam query protocol, which covers CS:GO, Counter-Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2, Garry’s Mod, Rust and ARK among others, plus Minecraft. Pick "Other" for a title that is not listed and it will still query the port.
Anywhere on your site that accepts HTML: a community page, a WordPress post, a forum signature block, or a widget area. Paste the iframe snippet and the banner appears at that spot.
No. The tool queries whatever address you give it, wherever that server lives. It is free to use either way.
Yes, if you leave Auto Refresh ticked. The banner re-queries your server every 30 seconds, so the player count on your page stays close to live without anybody reloading.
Yes. Untick "Show EUGameHost Branding" before you copy the code. We would rather you kept it, but the switch is there.
Almost always the query port. It is often the same as the game port but not on every title, and it has to be reachable from the outside. Use Test Server Connection to check before you publish the banner.
Yes. Every setting lives in the URL, so you can either come back here and generate fresh code, or edit the parameters in the snippet you already pasted.
