Full Rack Colocation UK

Full rack colocation means you own the physical servers and we provide a private, lockable 42U rack with everything around it: redundant power, cooling, bandwidth, IP addresses, cross-connects, physical security and remote hands. You get a complete private cabinet in a UK data centre without building your own server room.

A rack unit (U) is a standard 1.75-inch slot of vertical rack space, so a 42U rack gives you 42 slots in a single full-height cabinet. With a private rack the whole cabinet is yours alone, secured with locks and your own keys, with no shared space and no neighbour equipment.

The amperage sets the total power capacity per feed. 4A @ 240v is roughly 960W per feed (about 1.92kW total with A+B), 8A is roughly 1.92kW per feed (about 3.84kW total) and 16A is roughly 3.84kW per feed (about 7.68kW total). Most standard server deployments fit 4A, while GPU servers and high-density compute need 8A to 16A. We will help you calculate if you are unsure.

Your rack lives in our own UK data centre, with redundant N+1 power, precision cooling, secure access control and full GDPR-compliant UK data residency. The facility has excellent connectivity to London, mainland Europe and UK regions.

Every dedicated rack includes a /29 IPv4 allocation (5 usable IPs) as standard, with larger allocations available on request. You can also bring your own IP space via LOA: if you have your own IPv4 or IPv6 allocations from RIPE or ARIN, we can announce them through our AS, with BGP sessions available for advanced routing control.

Yes. You can order cross-connects to carriers, peers or your other cabinets so you can run your own routing, reach upstream providers and link cabinets together. Where possible we place additional racks adjacent to your existing deployment so cross-connects between cabinets are short and simple.

Remote hands is our on-site UK engineering team carrying out physical tasks for you: racking and cabling new servers, reboots, checking indicator lights, swapping failed drives and routine maintenance. Every rack includes 5 hours each month, with extra hours available when needed and fast response times for urgent issues.

Yes. You get 24/7 escorted access to your private rack. Arrange a time and our security team will escort you to your cabinet to install hardware, diagnose issues or audit your infrastructure. If you would rather not travel, our UK-based remote hands team can act as your eyes and hands on site.

Yes. Every rack starts with a 1Gbps fibre uplink included and can be upgraded to 10Gbps when you need more throughput. The cost depends on committed bandwidth and burstable tier, and we can arrange custom bandwidth for very high-traffic deployments. Just ask.

We back every rack with a 99.99% uptime SLA for power and network, supported by the redundant N+1 design of our UK data centre. Unplanned outages are extremely rare thanks to redundant A+B power and multiple network carriers. If we fail to meet the SLA, you receive service credits proportional to the outage duration.

Yes, as an optional add-on. We can route your colocated IPs through our 30Tbps+ private anycast DDoS protection so attacks are scrubbed at the nearest edge before they reach your hardware.

No. All our rack packages are monthly rolling with 30 days notice to cancel, so you have flexibility while you prove out your infrastructure needs. Many customers start monthly and move to annual contracts later for discounts.

Yes. Many customers start with one private rack and expand to two, three or more as their infrastructure grows. Where possible additional racks are placed adjacent to your existing deployment, and we will work with you on volume discounts for multi-rack deployments.
