Why work here

A small team with real hardware behind it

We are not a reseller with a support inbox. We own the data centre, we build the machines and we write the tooling, which means there is a lot more to work on than there would be at our size otherwise.

Remote-friendly

Work from anywhere in the UK with flexible hours. We care what ships, not what time you started.

Short path to live

No committee between you and production. Good ideas go out in days, not in the next quarterly plan.

Real kit to learn on

Our own facility, our own network under AS203758 and hardware we specify and build ourselves.

Room to grow

A small team means broad remits. People here pick up whole areas rather than a narrow slice of one.

Work that is used

What you build runs the servers gaming communities meet on every evening. You hear about it either way.

Direct access

You will talk to the CEO and CTO daily. There is nobody to escalate through and nothing to sign off in triplicate.

Open roles

What is open right now

One live role. We have no salaried vacancies open at the moment, so rather than list positions we are not filling, here is the honest picture.

  • Open now
  • Commission based
  • Remote

Sales Affiliate

Promote EUGameHost hosting to an audience you already have, and earn on every customer you bring in for as long as they stay. Suited to creators, community owners and anyone already recommending hosting to other people.

  • Generous commission structure, paid monthly
  • Marketing materials and tracking links provided
  • Performance bonuses for consistent volume
  • No fixed hours and no quota

Full terms are on the affiliate programme page.

  • Speculative
  • UK

Nothing listed that fits you?

We hire when we find the right person, not only when a vacancy is posted. If you work in systems engineering, networking, backend development or technical support and you know gaming infrastructure, we would rather hear from you now than miss you.

  • Every speculative application is read and answered
  • Tell us what you would want to own here
  • Links to things you have built count for more than a CV

What we look for

Qualifications help. Running a server yourself helps more.

None of them beat someone who runs a community server in their own time and already knows why it goes wrong. These are the traits that matter here.

  • You play Genuine interest in games and a working understanding of how gaming communities operate.
  • Customer first The person on the other end of the ticket has a server full of people waiting. Act like it.
  • You debug Comfortable working a problem down to a root cause instead of restarting it and hoping.
  • You explain well Clear, plain writing. Most of our support is written, and most of it goes to non-technical people.
  • You are reliable A small team has no bench. If you say you have something covered, it needs to be covered.
  • You keep learning The stack moves. New hardware, new games, new attack patterns. Curiosity is most of the job.

Careers FAQ

One role is open: a commission-based Sales Affiliate, worked remotely. We have no salaried vacancies open at the moment. We still read every speculative application, so if you are a fit for a role we have not advertised, send it in.

For salaried roles, yes. The commission-based Sales Affiliate role is remote and open more widely.

Remote-friendly with flexible hours. We are a small team spread across the UK, and the data centre is staffed by our own engineers for anything that needs hands on hardware.

A CV and a short cover note explaining why you would be a good fit. Include any relevant gaming or technical experience, and links to anything you have built or run.

It helps a lot. Most of what we host is game servers, and understanding what a community actually needs from its host is hard to fake.

We reply to every application we receive. Because the team is small, that can take a little time during busy periods, but you will get an answer either way.

Think you would be a good fit?

Send it in. We would rather read a speculative application than let the right person assume we were not looking.
