The Satisfactory 1.0 update is here with massively improved graphics, performance and advanced automation. Build even bigger massive factories, explore new biomes, and optimise production with more complexity than ever before.
With EUGameHost Satisfactory server hosting, jump right into the action, play with friends and experience lag-free gameplay!
Satisfactory is a first-person, open-world factory-building game developed by Coffee Stain Studios. Set on an alien planet, players explore diverse biomes, harvest resources, and construct sprawling automated production lines to manufacture increasingly complex products.
From laying conveyor belts and optimizing power networks to refining logistics and scaling up your operation, Satisfactory challenges your engineering skills and creativity. Whether you’re playing solo or teaming up with friends on a dedicated server hosted by EUGameHost, the possibilities for automation, exploration, and discovery are endless.
At EUGameHost, every server is hand-assembled with top-tier components: enterprise-grade Intel Xeon or AMD EPYC CPUs, ECC-protected DDR4 RAM, and blazing Gen4 NVMe SSDs. Our custom hardware delivers rock-solid stability, low latency, and lightning-fast world loading—perfect for FPS, RPG, MMO, and large-scale modded Minecraft communities.
At minimum, you’ll want a quad-core CPU (e.g. Intel i5 or equivalent), 8 GB of RAM, and an SSD. This supports a small group (4–6 players) with basic factory setups. For larger groups or heavy mod use, scale up to 16 GB RAM and a modern 6- or 8-core CPU.
By default, Satisfactory uses UDP port 7777 for game traffic, 15000 for server query (so it shows in server lists), and 15777 for RCON (remote console). Make sure all three are forwarded/allowed in your firewall.
Use a scheduled script (e.g. a cron job on Linux or Task Scheduler on Windows) to copy the entire
FactoryGame/Saved/SaveGames folder to a secondary location daily. Many control panels
(TCAdmin, Pterodactyl) also include built-in backup scheduling.
Yes—launch each dedicated server with a different -Port parameter (e.g.
-Port=7777, -Port=7788) and corresponding query/RCON ports. Ensure each
instance has its own “Saved” folder to avoid conflicts.
Use the Satisfactory Mod Manager (SMM) to keep server and client mods in sync. Always update mods server-side first, then have players update their clients before connecting to avoid version mismatches.
In the server’s GameUserSettings.ini, adjust MaxPlayers to cap player count,
enable UseAllAvailableCores=true for multi-threading, and consider lowering
MaxAllowableFPS to prevent idle CPU spikes.
Yes. On Linux, add a daily cron entry that stops and starts the service (or sends an RCON restart). On Windows, use Task Scheduler to run a script that issues a “quit” via RCON, waits, then relaunches the server.
Set a strong RCON password in Game.ini, restrict RCON port access via firewall to known
IPs, and only share AdminPassword with trusted users. Optionally, whitelist Steam IDs under
AllowList.
Use Prometheus+Grafana (via the FactoryStats mod) to collect CPU, RAM, and tick-rate metrics. For simple uptime alerts, point an external ping monitor (e.g. UptimeRobot) at your server query port.
Yes—copy the entire Saved folder (world and player data) to the new host’s same directory
structure. Ensure matching game and mod versions are installed before launching to avoid compatibility
issues.
