About EUGameHost
EUGameHost has been hosting game servers, VPS and dedicated machines in the UK since 2017. We build the hardware, run the network and own the building all of it sits in.
EUGameHost is a privately owned British company. No parent group, no investors, no white-label reseller deal sitting behind the brand. The company is registered in England and Wales as company number 14794898 and VAT registered under GB 452303820, and it runs its own network under AS203758.
We started in 2017 because the hosting on offer to UK gaming communities was either cheap and oversold, or expensive and slow to answer a ticket. The answer we settled on was to stop renting. Renting hardware means you inherit someone else's spec sheet. Renting rack space means you inherit someone else's maintenance window. Owning both means the person who can fix your server is the same person who chose the CPU it runs on.
That is still the whole idea. We are a hosting company that also happens to be a data centre operator, and everything we sell runs on kit we specified, built and racked ourselves.

Three points that changed what we could offer.
One machine, and the communities we already knew
Aaron Smith founded EUGameHost after years running large gaming communities and being let down by the hosts behind them. The first customers were the communities he already knew.
Our own panel tooling, monitoring and security stack
Will Allison joined as CTO and Poly Anthi as core developer. Between them the platform stopped being off-the-shelf: our own control panel tooling, our own monitoring, our own security stack.
Plus capacity in the US and mainland Europe
We now own and operate the facility our platform runs in, alongside capacity in the US and mainland Europe for communities whose players are not in the UK.
Our UK facility is operated as NorwichDC. Owning it end to end, from the power feeds to the hardware, is what lets us fix things in minutes instead of logging them with a landlord.

Most game hosts rent servers, or rent rack space in someone else's building. We own both, which means the engineer who can walk to your machine is on our payroll, not a landlord's.

Our core platform runs from our own UK data centre, connected into London for onward transit and peering. We also run capacity in the US and mainland Europe for customers whose players are based there. You can see the live network for yourself on our Looking Glass.
Please do. The Looking Glass lets you run a ping, traceroute or BGP lookup against our network from the outside, and SmokePing publishes our continuous latency and packet-loss graphs. Both are public and neither is curated.
