We needed a No One Survived server that stayed online when nobody was hosting. Setup took about a minute and the Game.ini config was straightforward. Our group of 8 has been playing for weeks with zero issues.

★★★★★ James M · UK · No One Survived Server

First time hosting a game server. Support helped me set up PvE mode and configure zombie horde sizes. Performance is solid — no desync during corpse tide events. Really happy with it.

★★★★★ Sarah T · US · Survival Server

Best hosting I've used. No lag even with max zombie spawns. Support actually helps rather than sending copy-paste responses. Upgraded once already as more friends joined.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about No One Survived server hosting. Still have questions? Contact support.

Choose a plan, complete checkout, and your server deploys instantly. We handle SteamCMD installation and server binary setup for you. Once live, customise your Game.ini settings — server name, password, PvP or PvE mode, zombie spawn counts, and region. Share the server name with friends and they can find it under the Private Server browser in-game.
Yes. Our support team helps with everything from basic setup to Game.ini configuration. Whether you need help toggling PvP, adjusting zombie horde sizes, or setting up a password, contact us via ticket or Discord and we'll get you sorted.
Yes. Set the PVP field in Game.ini to "True" for player-versus-player combat or "False" for a cooperative PvE-only experience. Most No One Survived communities run PvE co-op servers, but PvP adds an extra layer of tension with base raiding and player combat. You can switch modes anytime.
Game.ini gives you control over server name, password protection, PvP toggle, zombie horde spawn count (25 to 100), material and item spawn rates, NPC item spawn rates, virus fatality rate, and server region (EU, NA, AS, OC, SA, AF). You also get access to the in-game admin console for spawning items, changing weather, and managing players.
No One Survived does not currently have official mod support or Steam Workshop integration. Server customisation is handled through the Game.ini configuration file, which gives you control over gameplay settings like zombie spawns, item rates, PvP mode, and more. The developer Cat Play Studio has an active 2026 roadmap with ongoing feature additions.
We offer a 48-hour money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied within the first 48 hours, contact support for a full refund.
Yes. All No One Survived servers include always-on DDoS protection to keep your server online and protected from attacks.
Player capacity depends on your plan. Our Starter plan supports up to 10 players, Pro up to 20, and Ultra up to 32 players. Most No One Survived groups play in teams of 2 to 15, so even the Starter plan works well for most squads.

No. We use fast single-threaded CPUs and NVMe storage specifically suited for Unreal Engine 5 servers. Your No One Survived server stays smooth even during corpse tide zombie horde events with the spawn count set to maximum.

No One Survived Server Hosting — Everything You Need to Know

A complete guide to hosting your own No One Survived dedicated server.

No One Survived is a multiplayer open-world survival sandbox game developed and published by Cat Play Studio. Built on Unreal Engine 5.1, the game puts players in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies where survival depends on exploration, crafting, base building, and combat.

The game entered Steam Early Access on January 14, 2023 and reached its full 1.0 release on December 27, 2025 after nearly three years of active development. It is available on PC (Steam) for Windows at a base price of $16.99 USD, with over 200,000 to 500,000 estimated owners and support for 20 languages including English, German, French, Russian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

Core Gameplay Features

  • Open-world exploration: A large map with diverse points of interest including military bases, mining tunnels, sea ports, motel rest stops, and bandit camps.
  • 400+ craftable items: Progression through skill trees in medicine, electrical chemistry, tailoring, metallurgy, civil engineering, and weapons manufacturing.
  • Base building: Nearly 150 buildable structures using a unique beam-column load-bearing system that requires players to plan structural integrity for realistic construction.
  • Water and electricity systems: Three types of power generation — generators, solar panels, and wind turbines — plus wells, pipes, and water purification.
  • Four-season cycle: Dynamic weather and temperature changes across spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Resources vary by season and winter requires greenhouses for crop growing.
  • Combat: Bows, machetes, sledgehammers, firearms with modification options, and a dismemberment system. Face standard zombies, special infected variants, and massive zombie horde "corpse tide" events.
  • NPC interaction: Merchant NPCs for bartering and learning skills, hostile NPC camps, and recruitable companion characters.
  • Vehicles: Multiple vehicle types with modification support for traversing the open world.
  • Lumen lighting: Real-time dynamic lighting powered by Unreal Engine 5's Lumen system — indoor light changes when windows are opened or closed.

Dedicated server support was one of the most requested features during No One Survived's Early Access period. Before dedicated servers were added, players had to host games from their own PC — meaning the world only existed while the host was online. A dedicated server solves this completely.

Benefits of a Dedicated Server

  • Always online: Your world stays up 24/7. Friends can join and continue building, crafting, and exploring even when you're not playing.
  • Better performance: Dedicated hardware means no lag from the host's PC running the game and the server simultaneously.
  • Full control: Configure every aspect of gameplay through Game.ini — zombie spawn counts, item rates, PvP or PvE mode, passwords, and server region.
  • Persistent world: Your bases, inventories, and progression are saved and always accessible. No more losing progress because the host disconnected.
  • Admin tools: Use the in-game admin console (Alt+Shift+O) to spawn items, change weather, and manage players on your server.

Why Choose EUGameHost

  • Instant deployment: Your server is live in 60 seconds — no SteamCMD setup, no command line knowledge required.
  • UK and US locations: Low latency for European and North American players.
  • Real support: UK-based team that responds in minutes. We help with Game.ini configuration, connection issues, and server management.
  • DDoS protection: Always-on protection keeps your server safe from attacks.

No One Survived supports both PvE and PvP gameplay modes, configurable through the Game.ini file. The community runs several types of servers depending on their playstyle.

PvE Co-op Servers (Most Popular)

The majority of No One Survived servers are cooperative PvE. Players team up to survive against zombies, build bases with the beam-column structural system, progress through technology trees, and manage water and electricity networks together. This is how the game was fundamentally designed and where the strongest community exists.

PvP Servers

Setting PVP to "True" in Game.ini enables player damage and base raiding. PvP adds tension but is less popular in No One Survived compared to games like Rust or DayZ — the single map and resource balance suit cooperative play better. PvP servers appeal to players who want the extra challenge of defending their base from other survivors as well as zombies.

Private Friend Group Servers

The most common setup: a small group of 2 to 10 friends on a password-protected server. Everyone can join anytime because the server stays online 24/7. This was the primary reason dedicated server support was requested so heavily during Early Access.

Community Servers

Larger groups run whitelisted or passworded servers with their own rules. Typically PvE with specific conduct guidelines, these servers build a persistent community around a shared world.

No One Survived has been in active development since January 2023, with Cat Play Studio consistently delivering updates based on community feedback throughout its nearly three-year Early Access period.

Development Timeline

  • January 2023: Early Access launch on Steam. Core survival mechanics, base building, and co-op multiplayer. The game peaked at 4,599 concurrent players in February 2023.
  • 2023: Steady updates added NPC merchants, expanded crafting to 400+ items, seasonal weather systems, the four-season cycle, and quality-of-life improvements.
  • 2024: Major additions including dedicated server support, first-person camera mode, expanded weapons and vehicles, NPC base camps, water and electricity systems, and the beam-column structural building system.
  • December 27, 2025: Full 1.0 release, officially exiting Early Access.
  • January 2026: Cat Play Studio published the official 2026 Update Roadmap with quarterly updates planned — promising smoother survival experience, more diverse construction options, more exciting combat, and new exploration possibilities.

The game currently holds a 65% positive review rating on Steam from over 7,500 reviews across all languages, with Brazilian Portuguese players being the most positive community. Ongoing development means regular game updates, all of which install automatically on EUGameHost servers.

Every No One Survived dedicated server is configured through the Game.ini file. On EUGameHost servers, you can edit this directly from the control panel's file manager — no command line or SFTP required unless you prefer it.

Key Game.ini Settings

  • SaveName: The name of your server's save archive.
  • ServerName: The public name players search for in the Private Server browser.
  • NeedPassword: Set to "True" to require a password, or "False" for open access.
  • Password: The password required to join your server.
  • NumOfZombieSpawn: Controls the size of zombie horde waves. Accepts values from 25 to 100.
  • Region: Sets the server's listed region — All, AF (Africa), AS (Asia), EU (Europe), NA (North America), OC (Oceania), or SA (South America).
  • MaterialNum: Resource spawn multiplier for adjusting how plentiful materials are.
  • ItemSpawn: Controls item spawn rates throughout the world.
  • VirusFatalyRate: Adjusts how lethal the virus mechanic is.
  • NPCItemSpawn: Controls what items NPC merchants and camps carry.
  • PVP: Set to "True" for PvP combat or "False" for PvE-only cooperative play.

You also have access to the in-game admin console by pressing Alt+Shift+O while connected as the server host. This lets you spawn items, change weather, and perform other administrative tasks in real-time.
